What the- I don't even!
A coloured version of Dex's walk cycle?!
Oh yes it is!!
We had to use either flipbook or Adobe's flash to colour our walk cycles in digitally....
Personally I don't enjoy either program because of how the lines turn out but regardless this was a nice one on one experience with the programs. In the end I went with Adobe's flash program for the colouring and digital line work.
If the time says 0:00 just hit the play button and it will start!
Finally it's reading week! Sorry I missed last week guys, mid terms were due and all that jazzy jazz!
So here are a couple update today and I will be sure to post more at some point this week!
Stay 'tooned!
Oh yea, about this project;
We had to draw one picture, scan it, print 3 copies and do the following:
1 with realistic texture
1 with our own style of texture
1 with a way past different texture
Ahaha, it's been a while since I've shown you guys my sketches!
Here are a few of my personal favourite!
Enjoy ~<3
Fluffy animal girl
Some animal characters with different body types
Russell from Pixar's UP.
We have to choose an already created character, rotate their head, lip sync them to a "Meeow" voice then have them react. This was just some thought process...
(I do NOT own Russell, Russell is (c) Pixar)
My Fancy Pants Giraffe Character.
You'll see more of him soon!
Me just playing around with simple shapes found in the body.
Hurray! The pencil version of Dex's walk cycle is done!
I'll be colouring this guy up so expect to see that within the next week or two!
Sorry this isn't the loop version... I'll fix that soon!
If the time says 0:00 just hit play and it will load!
Hey everyone!
My friend Chris had just recently commissioned me to do posters for his up coming pubaret shows. Here is the February poster! :)
With his help and guidance, I was able to produce a piece that he was very happy with.
Be sure to check him out!
Here is the rough of my character Dex's walk cycle.
I'll post the cleaned up version next week so stay 'tooned!

What do you mean it's Wednesday?
That's a lie it's still totally Tuesday...
(late night in the animation lab haha)
Here it is! Big project 3/3!
This was called a Master Copy painting which basically consisted of us choosing one layout from an animation and making an exact replica painting of it.
I chose the Southern Air Temple from Avatar the Last Air Bender.
The painting is pretty huge and took me well over 11h worth of painting.
Whoa Krista! An early update?!
Sure is! To make up for my recent post delay here is an early post to start your week off!
This is our layout assignment where you are basically comparing something small to something large.
This is big project 2 of 3. Number 3 will be posted Tuesday!
Enjoy ~<3
PS. YES that is Qwu swimming towards the light :)
And if you want to see a larger version of the image just drag and drop it into the URL bar.
Here is 1 of 3 big projects coming your way!
This is my character sequence featuring Dillo the armadillo and a mystical bean!
(OooooOOOOoooOOOoooO!)
As stated in the video:
The music is (c) SquareSoft 2000

NOTE:
I have NO idea why the quality seemed to go down once the file was uploaded to youtube...
When I exported the movie from Adobe Premier on to my computer everything was fine.
I'll have to look into this...
Sorry!
